I was out earlier today at some flea market browsing the stalls and I came across a super nintendo and a handful of games. I had the sudden great urge to buy it..but in the end I didn't. I sort of regret not getting it now...but hey I've got an N64 and Gamecube and my bro's got a PS2.

I remember playing it round my friends house and it was always fun!

So what's your opinion on the Super Nintendo?

The Super Nintendo is one of the best consoles with games in the world I beleive. Every game on it was pure bliss and it got me through my childshood along with the Sega Megadrive.

The controls were nice and comfortable on the hands and all the games rocked. You should have got it.

Maybe it wasnt in UK but i played it on my Snes for sure.
I"l look if i can find the game and show you the Snes version.

Edit:Yep founded websites on google that confirms that metal gear was on snes, just read the following review

http://www.gamerseurope.com/articles/266

http://www.excite.co.uk/directory/Games/Vi...tal_Gear_Series

http://forums.adventchildren.net/index.php...=0&#entry164048

Try some google for yourself.

I also have a review of it but its in dutch, i can let you see it via my cam.

(when its abaout metal gear, you cant take me wrong, and it wasnt a dream) wink.gif

Super MAario world and Zelda: Link to the past was the games that gave me the most pleasure on the SNES.

I still got my SNES. It barely lives, but hey, its old as hell. Dont have many games either, and most of the ones I got are Dutch. And I dont know Dutch. But hey, its still great playing it no matter what.

Dutch? Why would you have Dutch ones instead of English ones?

You know, I think I might get a Sega Megadrive instead of a Snes. I believe there is even a boxful of games up in the attic still. I think I cried when my Sega Mega drive broke lol.
